DESCRIPTION:The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates t
 he latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety
  of first aid emergencies such as burns\, cuts\, scrapes\, sudden illnesse
 s\, head\, neck\, back injuries\, heat and cold emergencies and how to res
 pond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age – a
 dults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to
  12 years of age). Students who successfully complete this course will rec
 eive a certificate for American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CP
 R/AED valid for two years.\n\nYouth must have completed 6th grade and be a
 ccompanied by an adult chaperone.\n\nRegistrations must be completed befor
 e August 9.\n\nThis course is blended learning. Participants must complete
  the online portion of the course prior to arriving for the in person skil
 ls portion of the course.
